one Aptitude Competency Training (ACT)

Employability of students is determined not just by their industry-related knowledge, but by their ability to navigate the world of work. The selection of trainers is done from various industries and academic world. The aptitude skills enhancement is ensured through this training where students are trained in quantitative, logical, analytical skills, reasoning, mental ability and verbal ability. The practice and mock tests are also conducted under this training. This is imparted for all the consented students in the third year. Trainers from external agencies deliver the sessions and TCET faculty member attend the program so that students can be supported as and when required.


Initially, the programme used to be named as Pre-Placement Training (PPT) which is conducted by in-house trainers as well as the experts from industry and academia. Later, the programme is called Aptitude Competency Training (ACT). The external training institutes are identified and among them one is chosen by students and training is provided to all consented students. The training used to be conducted for 60 hours which is increased to 100-120 hours.

    • To develop logical thinking ,critical thinking, quantitative aptitude, data handling, data analysis ,language skills by practicing the problems of Aptitude during training programme and Mock Aptitude tests
    • To crack the aptitude test based on quantitative Mathematics, English Language and Logical reasoning by enhancing their aptitude skills during recruitment process and higher studies process
